Nikita Shah, M.P.S.

Nikita works with neuropsychologists in the office to understand each child’s strengths and vulnerabilities and help provide specific and tailored recommendations for their successful path forward. She is passionate about the assessment process and wants to help children/adolescents develop a deeper understanding of their profile.

When Nikita is not in the office, she enjoys baking, hiking, and trying local restaurants in the D.C. area. If you can’t find Nikita in the DC area, she is most likely traveling, as it is on her bucket list to visit all 7 continents!

Nikita obtained her M.P.S. in Clinical Psychological Science from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2021. Before earning her degree, Nikita gained both clinical and research experience working with children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental and behavioral disorders at sites such as Children’s National Hospital and George Washington University. One of the primary projects Nikita assisted with during her master focused on working with local underserved communities to provide comprehensive and empirically-based assessment and treatment to parents and children diagnosed with ADHD, which ultimately led her to become passionate about her assessment process.
