Roshni Rao, Psy.D. (Dr. Roshni), obtained her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Wright State University, completed a predoctoral internship in neuropsychology at University of Florida, and a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2019. Dr. Roshni is very passionate about advocacy issues related to equitable access to special education and mental health services for all individuals. She had the privilege to serve on the advocacy and legislative committees of the Ohio Psychological Association (OPA) and American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Roshni has been trained in a family-centered approach that collaboratively involves the child and family throughout the evaluation process.
Dr. Roshni specializes in working with students with learning differences, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and specific developmental and medical conditions (e.g., developmental delays, prematurity/low birth weight, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, concussion, and genetic conditions). She is excited to help children and families feel empowered to embrace their individual strengths and challenges and advocate for the best ways to support each child’s unique learning styles and differences.
