Fees and Policies
Given the news about Coronavirus, we want you to know that we are taking it seriously and making your safety our #1 concern. If you are not feeling well, please stay at home. We will happily work with you to reschedule your appointments.
We will now conduct our client intakes, feedbacks and consultations through virtual meetings (via Skype and Facetime).
Additionally, we have implemented the following procedures:
- Cleaning our space throughout the day
- Scheduling only two families at a time
- Scheduling sufficient time between our families to allow for cleaning
- Asking our families to wait in separate waiting areas
- Monitoring our own health and rescheduling our appointments if we show any symptoms of illness
- Practicing social distancing in our group and with our social circle of friends
- Being very flexible in our schedule if you or your child is sick
- Working remotely when possible
- Managing our phone systems remotely
Depending on the age and specific goals of the family, our neuropsychological evaluations typically take between 17 and 23 hours. This includes an intake meeting, testing, live feedback, creation of a written report, a feedback meeting, and communication with other professionals. After initial discussion of your needs, we will present a flat-rate contract. We offer two payment options. For each option, we ask that you place a non-refundable deposit of $300 at the time of scheduling the evaluation. After that, you have the option of paying the remaining balance at the time of the intake appointment or over 2 payments (one payment at the intake appointment and one payment at the feedback appointment).
For admissions testing, we charge $500 for the WPPSI-IV and $550 for the WISC-V. This fee includes administration of the test, an informal screen of pre-academic skills for the little ones, real-time feedback, and a written report.
We charge $300 per hour for consultation services. For re· mem· brance sessions, we charge $300 for the initial session and $150 per hour for additional sessions.
We do not participate in any insurance networks, but we will provide an invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We recommend checking with your insurance company to see if you need a pre-certification/pre-authorization for testing. Reimbursement is given on a case by case basis depending upon your specific insurance plan and procedural/diagnostic codes.
Mindful Concentration classes are charged separately.
