Arunika Sharma, M.A.
Arunika enjoys the hands-on process of testing and discovering how each child’s mind works. She finds it fascinating to observe how diverse cognitive and behavioral profiles present in real life, and how subtle details during testing can uncover a child’s unique strengths and challenges. Her interest in assessment stems from a long-standing curiosity about personality and human behavior. To her, testing is both a science and a puzzle—one that brings clarity to families and helps guide better decisions for children. As part of her work, Arunika introduces simple breathing exercises to our children to help them feel grounded, calm, and centered – tools that support emotional regulation, self-awareness, and a sense of inner balance.
Outside of work, Arunika is a trained Indian classical and folk dancer and has explored various Middle Eastern dance forms. At home, she enjoys doodling, crafting, baking, and experimenting with new recipes.
Arunika earned her M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University in 2024, where she participated in neuroscience research and worked directly with children with cerebral palsy as part of an intervention program. She has also contributed to the field by editing and refining manuscripts for journals in the psychosocial healthcare space, further deepening her understanding of psychological science. Arunika continues to grow her skills through ongoing clinical experience, with the aim of providing thoughtful, individualized recommendations to support each child’s development and well-being.
