Admissions testing is required by some independent schools to assess your child’s cognitive development.  This information helps school officials determine if their setting is a good fit for your child.

We administer the Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence-Fourth Edition (WPPSI-IV) or the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Fifth Edition (WISC-V), depending on your child’s age. Some independent schools also request the Woodcock-Johnson-V (WJ-V) to assess your child’s academic achievement .

We score the results immediately to provide you and your child feedback at the conclusion of your appointment.

After the session, we prepare a written report in a timely manner (i.e., one-week turnaround).
