Kylie Kain, MS, RDN, LDN
Kylie is a registered dietitian dedicated to helping families optimize their health and performance through evidence-based nutrition so that they make confident food choices that align with their goals, culture, and lifestyle. Because nutrition touches so many areas, Kylie brings valuable new expertise to Dr. Daisy’s office, ensuring every family is truly Nourished to Flourish.
Kylie works with a diverse range of clients, from individuals seeking improved energy, metabolic health or overall well-being, to athletes striving for peak performance – including our very own Washington Nationals! Her approach blends science, culture, and balanced nutrition to build mindful, sustainable habits that support long-term success.
She specializes in developmental nutrition, helping children and young adults who have selective eating, sensory-based food aversions, and other feeding difficulties often seen in neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions. Kylie supports families navigate specialized diets or appetite-altering medications and teaches how nutrition can influence mood, focus, and behavior.
Kylie was born and raised in the DMV where she was both a dedicated student and athlete. Kylie earned a Division I lacrosse scholarship and graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in Philosophy and a Minor in Psychology. Her experiences as a student athlete inspired her to pursue a B.S. and M.S. in Nutrition & Dietetics from Saint Louis University, where she also completed her Dietetic Residency and thesis research with a concentration in performance nutrition and exercise science.
